Fall is pretty much here...

Sun Aug 9, 2009, 8:47 AM
I have just come to the realization that my journal is a few months outdated. I can't believe the summer is almost over for us already. An I still have so much to do, in fact I should be cleaning out the shed right now, but, I just woke up darn it, and it's raining, and I need to at least finish my first cup of coffee.
We have had a hot hot summer, but its been a smoky summer also. It really has taken a toll on the amount of photos I churn out. The air is gross to breath, and it blocks out all my natural sunlight. But today, today it's raining, helping to stomp down the smoke some more. So who knows, maybe I will get some things accomplished and THEN go take some pictures.

What's up!? Sorry I havnt been around lately, short summer long days! You know the drill! lol. I am going to post some pictures this evening that I took with my new lens my dad found at the dump! Its an odd one too. A semi fisheye lens for an old school video camera! It took me 3 adapter rings to get it onto my canon! It basically amounted to a really crazy macro lens!

Oh yeah! I know the drill! Spend as much time outside as humanly possible before passing out from pure exhaustion! Well, I'm partaking in some of that myself...

LOL, I know, I take pics of just about anything now, that stupid sap photo surpassed my old baby stroller photo in this weeks theme. It amazes me what catches peoples eye. Either that or it just proves that Farkers have dirty minds. I dont think any one would even buy either of those, lol, but they pulled me votes and im maintaining my ranking while learning a bit more about photography. Whatever works!

I saw a documentary on 'freaks' of nature... and one guy had a really large chicken egg. When he cracked it open, there was a bit of egg white and another fully formed normal-sized egg in it. That would have tripped me out lol

YEAH! I have heard of that, my husband was telling me something about it right before we found the tiny egg! You can bet I would photograph that too! LOL
